Who we are

Christians gathered to the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ
We are an independent assembly of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ from all walks of life.  We seek to carry out the teaching of the New Testament regarding the pattern for the local church.  We do not take any denominational name.  We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that through repentance and faith in Him, all may receive eternal life and the forgiveness of sins. We have met together in this local church capacity since 1976 and seek to continuously be active in Sunday School and Gospel outreach in the community for the benefit of children, adults and families.  It is our desire to provide an environment that is welcoming where you can be introduced to the truths that God has given us in the Bible, as well as grow in your spiritual experience. Families and children are very important to us.  We desire to provide a Biblical foundation for spiritual and moral training for all who attend.

What we believe

What we believe, preach and teach

  • The Bible is the inerrant, divinely inspired Word of God and we own it as the basis for all we do and teach.
  • Mankind has been ruined by sin and has the great need of a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.  Our sin separates us from God and causes us to be helpless before Him.
  • Salvation of mankind is by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as our substitute and as our sacrifice.  His blood cleanses us from all sin.
  • There are two destinations for all of mankind, either heaven or hell.
  • The Lord Jesus Christ could return to the air for all born again Christians at any time.
  • Plurality of elders
  • Sisters display the truth of headship by wearing head coverings as taught in 1 Corinthians 11.
  • It is important for us to gather as a local assembly for worship, prayer, teaching, fellowship and Bible study.
  • It is God's desire for us to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and display the fruit of the Spirit in our lives for the glory of God.
